Insured Cash Sweep / IntraFi / CDARS — impact tolerance ≤ same day — ITOL

Impact tolerance: ≤ same day — any outage preventing same-day sweep settlement, for any share of swept balances (illustrative default — trace the derivation, then replace with your own harm analysis)

Definition: Deposit-placement network service that sweeps customer balances above standard FDIC limits across a network of participating banks in increments to maximize aggregate FDIC insurance coverage.

Why it is designated: IntraFi's own program disclosures note that un-swept balances at the originating bank can exceed the FDIC standard maximum deposit insurance amount before settlement completes, so same-day sweep processing limits the window of uninsured exposure. The FDIC's brokered-deposits rule (effective 2021) separately governs how these reciprocal/network deposits are classified — it does not itself set settlement timing.
